Atmospheric Microplasma Treatment Based on Magnetically Controlled Fe–Al Dynamic Platform for Organic and Biomaterials Surface Modification

By exploiting the physical effect of electron emission from a thermionic source in combination with magnetically controlled Fe–Al dynamic platform to assist electrical discharge, we generated atmospheric microplasma (AM). The characteristics discharge-induced cold plasma open air were evaluated. surface analysis organic wheat seeds was investigated at two steps: (1) coating an Al nanoparticle electrons drift toward seed along direction electric field and (2) inelastic collision secondary moving cathode presence field. Using SEM microscopy analysis, it found that affects topography apparent contact angle (ACA). treatment leads modification by manifestation fine mesh structures on surface. Well-established AM technology will garner interest agriculture biomaterials coatings applications.
